Principal's Message
This week we are highlighting the power of kindness and cultivating positive relationships as we celebrate National School Counseling Week! Noted psychiatrist James Comer said, “No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship.” At Wolfsville our staff works tirelessly to help students realize their potential by encouraging their growth academically as well as supporting their emotional well being. All students and staff have a role in supporting our school culture by focusing on respectful, positive interactions that encourage one another!
Feel free to join us in this quest by talking with your child at home about the importance of their actions and ways to engage in acts of kindness that make a difference in our homes, school and community!
C- come prepared to learn
A- always show respect
T- take ownership for your actions
S- strive for excellence
Yours in Education,
Megan Stein, Principal

We invite family and friends to join us in helping to raise funds that will support our PTA events and maintain 21st Century Technological Tools at Wolfsville. Each participant will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible donation to the PTA.
Students will jog and/or walk around the 1/4 mile area behind our school as many times as they are able in one hour’s time. Students and classes will also have an opportunity to receive a number of prizes based on their participation in our Race for Education.
Our first deadline is coming this Friday, February 7th. Please turn in address labels for donation letters we will mail to your sponsors. We need your help- At last count we only had a handful of labels turned in. Please work with your student to complete these labels and send them in to school by Friday. Our students and PTA are counting on you!

School Counselor Week
Greetings from the Wolfsville Counselor, Mr. T!
This year, we will be observing National School Counseling Week during the week of February 3-7. During this time, I hope to help raise awareness about the role of the school counselor with emphasis on the collaborative effort we have here at Wolfsville . I feel blessed and honored to work with such a dedicated staff and community and am proud to share a week where our efforts are recognized. Each day, we will emphasize a different characteristic about school counseling and how I try to approach the job. Here is a schedule for the week:

When should I keep my child home?
The past few weeks we have had a large escalation in confirmed cases of Flu A & B, strep throat, and a number of viruses. Please help us contain the spread of these illness by strictly adhering to these guidelines!
Your child should stay home from school if he/she has one or more of the following symptoms:
- Temperature of more than >100.0 F Please Keep home free of fever without medication
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Undiagnosed rash or skin infection
Children should be kept home from school for 24 hours after the last episode of vomiting, fever, and/or diarrhea. Children should be fever free for 24 hours WITHOUT medication. Not adhering to these guidelines and masking any symptoms with medication is causing further spread throughout the school!

Winter Weather Clothing
Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the cold winter temperatures. Unless there is inclement weather, students go outside for a 20 minute recess each day. They often need extra coats or layers for this time! We encourage you to write your child's name on the inside tag of their coats or sweatshirts.
