Calcium is a metal, so it is shiny and is soft and smooth! Calcium is a grayish-white color. Its melting point is 850 degrees celcius and its boiling pint is 1440 degrees celcius. At room temperature, calcium is a solid. Calcium reacts with oxygen and creates calcium oxide, which makes calcium become dull.
