7th Dance Rotation- We began our dance for the March 16th perfromance. Costume money is due Jan 31st. Please encourage your child to bring Chromebook fully charged to class and check google classroom daily. We have assignments daily on the Chromebooks.
7th dance focus: We began our second dance for the March performance, Out of Nowhere to the song "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescene. Attendance is so very important as we will use every day to learn new choreography or polish existing choreography. T- shirt letters and costume letters have been sent home. Money for both is due January 31st. Please encourage your child to bring Chromebook fully charged to class and check google classroom daily. We have assignments daily on the Chromebooks.

Guitar - Mrs. Fennell
Our guitar class is adding new chords to our repertoire. We are also learning to play notes on the g string. We are working on composing our own melodies and chord progressions.
Science - Griffin
Math - Mr. Smith
We are starting our geometry unit in chapter 9. The first chapter principally deals with vocabulary. The students have a listing of all the required vocabulary which we will be learning collectively and individually. We will have a test on this vocabulary and how to use a protractor in the middle of next week.
ELA - Mrs. Templeton
Social Studies - Mr. Creswell
ELA & Social Studies - Mrs. Owensby
Students will continue creating an argumentative essay based on research they conduct. They will learn the elements of argument and share their essays at the end of the week. A new stems list will be given next week.
7th Grade SS
Students will conduct research on the totalitarian governments which developed during the 1930's and discuss how this led to WWII. Students will have a quiz on the Great Depression and totalitarian leaders on Wednesday.
