IMPORTANT INFORMATION-- PLEASE READ
IMPORTANT NEWS AND REMINDERS
- Kindergarten Drive-Thru Graduation will be held on June 10 at Hopkins Elementary.
- Please remember to fill out the picture order form and send payment if you are interested in having graduation photos taken of your child (see sample of form below).
- Please send a comfortable set of headphones to school with your child.
- Daily reading is an essential part of your child's academic growth. Please make sure your child is reading for at least 20 minutes every day. Daily practice will help your child grow as a reader and will increase the opportunity for them to be reading on grade level by the end of the year. Please see a description of each reading level below.
- If your child attends school in person, please send a season-appropriate change of clothes in a sealed Ziploc bag to keep at school in case of emergencies.

HOMEWORK
READ for at least 20 minutes each day! Practice finding those "ball words" in the books you read. Respond to your reading by writing about it! Write about your favorite character, the setting, or the problem in the story. If you read a nonfiction book, write about what you learned.
COUNT out loud from 1 to 100 by ones and tens!
