WHAT IS INCLUSION?
Inclusion Placement
In the Inclusion placement, the Special Education staff member provides support in the general education setting, supporting with the planning, execution and intervention for a scholar’s academic needs, or to support the behavioral needs of a scholar.
The Inclusion placement should take place in the General Education classroom with the General Education Teacher as the TOR.
Teachers will be expected to implement Uplift approved and aligned grade-level curriculum, along with scholar IEPS in order to inform changes to pacing, rigor and approach to TEKS.
Helpful Hints to start the year off right!
*Meet with the inclusion teachers to plan ahead
*Share your WAGs and lesson plans with the inclusion teachers
