Naming of the FCHS Football Field
There has been interest expressed regarding naming of the Franklin Central High School football field. In alignment with Franklin Township Community Schools Board policy 7250, our School Board shall appoint a Facility Naming Committee which will follow the procedure listed in the policy to identify a person for whom the facility may be named. The Facility Naming Committee will start accepting nominations for naming the Franklin Central football field starting Tuesday, April 30, 2019 for the required period of 30 days. You will find the nomination form on our website: https://ftcsc.org/facility-naming-nomination/. The nomination forms must contain a minimum of 50 original signatures of Franklin Township residents. All nomination forms are due by midnight, May 29, 2019. On May 30, 2019, the Facility Naming Committee will then announce the submitted names to the public. Community residents will have until midnight, June 28, 2019 to submit written comments about their preference of the submitted names to the FTCSC Administration Office. The Facility Naming Committee will then select one name to present to the Franklin Township Community School Corporation Board of Education for approval at the July 22, 2019 School Board meeting.
