A Message From the Directors
Dear Legacy Choir Family,
Happy Monday! Ms. Lafferty and I hope you all had a wonderful 3 day weekend and enjoyed Easter with your families.
Ms. Lafferty has posted assignments for classes for this week. Students in Bel Canto, Canto Dolce, and Tenor Bass Chorale are being asked to upload a video singing the major scale up and down. Students in Bella Voce and Chamber are being asked to upload a video singing the DDDD, TTTT, LLLL….interval drill. Please be sure that your face is clearly visible in the video and that we can hear you.
Grades for the 5th grading period are being pulled for report cards on Wednesday. That being said, IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO TURN IN ASSIGNMENTS THAT HAVEN’T BEEN SUBMITTED YET. We will update grades as we get those assignments turned in.
Finally, be on the lookout for information regarding virtual choir auditions for next year. We are hoping to send out this information next week. With the real possibility that we won’t be able to do live auditions, Ms. Lafferty and I want to give everyone as much time as possible to prepare for a video audition that will be submitted through Google Classroom.
As always, if you have any questions or need anything from Ms. Lafferty or me, please let us know. I hope you all have a wonderful week.
Stay safe, wash your hands, and keep singing!
Mr. Powell
