All About Islam

The followers of Islam are called Muslims, and their worship leader is called Imam. The Holy Book is called Koran. Muslims worship in mosques and learn about 6 major beliefs which are belief in Allah, belief in Angels, belief in Holy Books(Koran), belief in Prophets, belief in Day of Judgement and belief in predestination. Their sacrament is 5 pillars of Faith which are shahade, salat, zakot, siyam and hajj. Id ur Fitr, Islam's holiday, marks the end of month of fasting, Ramadan. Muslims visit their mosque to say prayers, visit friends, and relatives, eat special foods and exchange gifts and cards on Id ur Fitr. During Ramadan, Muslims cannot eat or drink. Islam's holy cities are Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem.

Islam, Judaism and Christianity

Islam, Judaism and Christianity are all monotheistic religions. Islam believe in Allah, Judaism believe in Adonai, and Christianity believe in Yaweh. Common figure of Islam, Judaism and Chrsitianity is God of Abraham.
