Welcome Back!

The Sweet Life of Third Grade

Dear Third Graders and Families,

Welcome to an exciting year in third grade! I am really looking forward to getting to know each of you. The students are going to be adjusting to new routines, schedules, and academics. This website will help me keep you informed and help out along the way. One of my goals for this year is to create the most effective learning environment for your child. With your support I feel very confident that this will be a wonderful and successful year for everyone!

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns throughout the school year, please contact me at school through notes, emails, or phone calls.

Thank you,
Miss McCreight

Just something to keep in mind as the year is starting--our first field trip will be Friday, September 27th. This year we are very excited to have the opportunity to visit Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, Illinois. A main focal point for third grade science is ecosystems and Brookfield Zoo and museum can show us exactly that. If you would like to be a parent volunteer, contact me for more details.
