Hibernation
Hibernation is a state of inactivity and metabolic depression in endotherms. Hibernation refers to a season of heterothermy that is characterized by low body temperature, slow breathing and heart rate, and low metabolic rate.
Bear
Bears are hibernate up 7 1/2 months without eating, drinking, urinating, and defecating.
Hedgehog
Hedgehogs wake up several times during hibernation. Their nests consist of leave, grass, and other various plants.
Chipmunk
Chipmunks usually hibernate with their babies and their burrow hole is about two inches wide.
Some bioligists don't consider a bear a hibernator.
