Visiting the Campus - Some colleges/universities are allowing campus visits. You will need to check with the individual school to know if they are doing this. Juniors and Seniors are allowed visit the college campus through the admission office two times per year that do not count against their attendance. We just need a note from the parent/guardian stating they will be absent and to bring back documentation from an official at the colleges stating the student was there and what day. This note can also be scanned and emailed to Mrs. Wright at j.wright@buckeyeschools.info

Colleges Going Test Optional
Test scores may still be required for scholarships or admission to specific programs. Students need to check with the individual colleges to know what the requirements are. If you have difficulty finding this information, please contact your counselor.
Senior Information
Nov. 1st is the deadline for Early Decision, Early Action, and scholarship opportunities at many schools. If you are going to apply for a November 1st deadline, please remember to give the school counselors two weeks to send out your transcript and other needed materials.
Letters of Recommendations - If you need a letter of recommendation from a teacher, please give them two weeks to write a letter of recommendation. Think about asking a teacher who you were able to be involved in the class, maybe someone you had for multiple years or as a coach/adviser, or maybe someone who can talk about how you have matured and grow as a student.
You are to put the request on Naviance and to ask in person. Please also provide them with a resume or a list of your activities/accomplishments. Also, if you are applying through the Common App, please politely remind your teachers that they Common App teacher evaluation form must be completed on Naviance as well. The school counselors will not be able to send out the recommendation if it is not completed.
Here is a video about how to request transcripts on Naviance:
