Academy Counseling Curriculum
Are you a good winner? Are you a good loser?
Because when we are a part of a team we learn to cooperate, to share, to solve problems, to have a positive attitude, and to work with kids that are different than we are. These are skills we will use for the rest of our lives!
Sportsmanship means to be fair, have fun, have a positive attitude, and always do the best you can.
A peek into this week's lesson...
Winning isn't everything!
We will watch a short video of a competitor showing good sportsmanship.
We will review a poster with tips on How to be a Good Team Player and Sportsmanship.
Howard B. Wigglebottom...He's one of our favorites! We will watch how Howard overcomes his poor sportsmanship to put the team first. Check out www.wedolisten.org for more animated books.
