The TIGER Times
Together We Will Learn, Excel, and Succeed
September 11th Edition
We completed our SECOND WEEK back and our students are doing awesome!! ! cannot be more proud of the amazing work and effort our LES Tigers are showing! My favorite was hearing our school song in music class- way to go Ms. Kindred's class!
I'd like to thank all of our students and families that continue to persevered through our technical glitches as we all really start to find our groove for our online instruction. Our teachers are working hard to master teaching online students. I am confident that virtual systems will just get better and better each week as everyone adjusts to the new routines!

LES Counselor Corner, A Special Message from Mrs. Bo
Welcome Back to a New School Year!
I hope the first 2 weeks of virtual learning have been going well. I know this year is very different from any other and there may be struggles that we never thought we would face. If you are having trouble, please reach out to me or another staff member, so we can help you!
For those of you who haven’t met me, I am the school counselor. The kids call me Mrs. Bo because Bokinsky turns into all kinds of different names! This is my third year at Lewistown. Before LES, I worked at Sabillasville as a school counselor and at Thurmont Primary, as well as Deer Crossing Elementary as a teacher. I absolutely love my job and I am so proud to serve the Lewistown community.
If you are feeling stressed or your children are, here is a simple technique that may help:
Here is another great resource if you are in need of a walk in service for any type of emotional, mental, family, or relationship crisis.:

I wanted to give a shout out to the Brooks boys and Garman girls for helping with our LES cheer for Friday announcements. If your child is interested in recording the LES cheer, please contact me at stacy.bokinsky@fcps.org.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns that you may have about your child’s well-being. The best way to reach me is email: stacy.bokinsky@fcps.org. You can also call me at 240-236-3755. Take care!
