Cougar Courier

Greetings from Dr. Garcia

March 14, 2020

Starting March 17, 2020, scholars will be participating in eLearning. Our younger scholars will also have consumables that they can use while schools are closed. If you know that internet access will be challenging for your family, please email your child's teacher.

This is a challenging time for all of us and school closures place an additional burden on many families. My hope is that our community will support each other during this time of uncertainty.

Parent teacher conferences, athletic events, and other extracurricular activities have all been cancelled and IREAD has been postponed.

Here is a link to some amazing FREE educational resources that usually require a subscription: http://www.amazingeducationalresources.com/

Please continue to have your scholar read daily. Literacy must be a priority during this time.

If you have not seen it, the letter from Dr. Cummings is below.

If food scarcity is a concern in your home, please email me at ngarcia@sb.school or call the school office at 574-393-4300. The following schools will serve meals to go from 11:00-1:00 pm: Coquillard, Madison, Muessel, Monroe, Harrison and Lincoln.

Blessings,

Dr. Garcia
