Principal Message
This week has been such an amazing first week of school! Our community has demonstrated kindness, flexibility and grace as we all worked together under these stressful times to ensure our students had a great start to this school year.
My 4 years at Bridger has taught me so much with so many great memories that I will cherish always. This coming week I will work with Principal Amor to ensure a smooth transition. This is not good-bye to Bridger just, "See you later!"
Thank you,
Melissa Schachner, Director of K-5 Humanities

Library News
Your Bridger Library says: Welcome Back
We are so excited to see students back in the library.
Please meet our new Media Specialist: Ms. Carri Nowak, she will be teaching Technology and Library skills on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons. I come from Texas with 22 years experience as a school librarian and 5 years as an elementary classroom teacher. I’m excited to be a Bridger Wildcat!
Your Library Assistant Brenda Jamsgard will be doing library book check out on Wednesday mornings, Thursdays and Fridays.
K-2 can check out 1 book at a time
3-5 can check out 2 books at a time
Ms Jamsgard is here full time and can always take returns and check out a new book any day but Tuesday after school.
Please take note of any library notices coming home this week. We have about 125 kids with one or more books still out from the past year. Please return any and all Bridger library books as soon as possible. This gives us a total of 728 overdue books. If we engage in a bit of library math 728 (over dues) x $16 (average price of a new book) = $11,648! That would be our replacement cost for those books!!
Please look around again and bring back the books!!!
All the Best!

ALL PPS STUDENTS EAT FOR FREE IN 2021-22
All PPS students eat FREE. This school year, all students in all schools have access to free breakfast and free lunch each school day. This was made possible by a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child Nutrition Program waiver for the 2021-22 school year.
Families in non-CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) schools may still complete meal applications for free/reduced price meals in order to be eligible for other benefits such as fee waivers/reductions in other programs. Click here for a current list of CEP schools.
