Cyber Wellness Parent Workshop

St Joseph's Institution International Elementary School

'I Can't Live Without It'

We are hosting a Cyber Wellness Workshop for parents to come along and listen about social media and its use by children titled “I Can’t Live Without It”.

There is a growing prevalence of mobile gadget usage, with more than 90% of children here in Singapore owning a smartphone by the time that they are 13 years old. 50% of them own at least two or more gadgets, such as a smartphone, laptop, tablet or portable audio device.

This workshop addresses questions about screen time, the social media being used and cyber wellness. Practical parenting tips to manage your child’s mobile usage will also be shared. At the end of the talk there will be an opportunity to ask questions. This talk is primarily for families with children in the Upper Elementary School, however all are welcome to attend.

It is being conducted by TOUCH Cyber Wellness, who also undertake talks for parents in the High School.
