Uniform Swap Tomorrow

Saturday, April 30 from 10:00am-12:00pm

Bring gently used, like-new condition uniform pieces to swap. Remember these items will be worn, as new, by other students. Please launder all items beforehand, and cull any stained, painted, or ripped clothes. Don't have anything to swap? That's okay, it's a uniform take as well!

If you are not able to attend, you may drop acceptable items, bagged at the front of the school today or this evening. They will remain there until the start of the swap tomorrow morning.

Come explore the world of fabric arts in this fun-filled course! Over the course of four classes, students will explore wool processing, wet felting, fabric dying, and more. Students will learn the techniques of each craft as they discover and develop their own creativity through enriching projects. This is the perfect opportunity to get a little messy while learning more about the rich traditions of fiber arts!

Rachel Lemay (Bachelor’s Degree in Art and Dance Education from NVU-Johnson in 2019) will be leading this series. Rachel is passionate about reaching every student in her classroom and making sure that all have the freedom to access their own creative expression through the arts. Most recently, Rachel was a long term substitute Art teacher at HPES. When not working, she enjoys being active outdoors and of course, making art!
