Bear Bulletin
Week of January 24, 2022
From the Principal
Dear BES families,
I can’t believe how quickly the school year is passing! We are officially halfway through the school year! Despite the challenges that Covid continues to throw our way, we have had a wonderful first half of the year and I am very excited about what the second half will hold. We have some fun activities planned this week as part of The Great Kindness Challenge! From themed dress up days to special classroom activities, there will be a whole lot of kindness at BES! See the flyer below for specifics on the dress up days.
The weather has definitely shifted to cooler days. Please make sure children are dressed appropriately for the school day – especially recess! Layers are recommended! As you are pulling out jackets and hats, take a moment to write your child’s name or initials in them so if they are misplaced, we can easily get them back to their owner. Reminder that this is the LAST WEEK to come look through the Lost & Found for items that may have been misplaced. You can enter through the doors closest to the cafeteria from 3:00 - 6:00 daily.
Finally, the 2nd Quarter Parent Survey will also be closing this week. It is very important for the staff at Ballentine Elementary to get feedback on our efforts of meeting the needs of our students and their families. In order to do this, we need your input. You can help us by taking a few minutes to fill out this brief survey. Your thoughts and suggestions are important to us and we appreciate your feedback! The link to the survey can be found below.
