Celebrating 10 Years of Excellence
Exclusive Opportunity for LSA Students!
All rising 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are being invited to attend a FREE summer retreat sponsored by Chowan University! As a college preparatory high school, we seek exclusive opportunities for our students that will help them make a smooth transition from high school to college. The students will stay on campus for the week and attend classes in groups with Chowan University professors in order to receive the full campus life experience! All meals are included. LSA administrators and staff members will be present during the week. ONLY LSA students will be on campus during the retreat! LSA will host a virtual meeting with Chowan University's professors for all interested families in April. Until then, we would like to gauge interest as well as begin the planning process. Please complete the Google Form if you would like to RSVP by Friday, March 10th: https://forms.gle/Qjt2HWNAk83eDGYd7

Free ITS Theatre Event!
Are you curious about the various competitions and festivals that our Theatre students participate in each year? If so, please join our International Thespian Society (ITS) Troupe #8972 Theatre Students this Wednesday evening, March 8th, at 7:00 PM in the BlackBox, for our annual Theatre Feis! This event serves as the dress rehearsal for our ITS students who will be competing at the State Festival next weekend (March 10th-12th), and will include traditional theatre and musical theatre performances, technical theatre project display, and a staged reading of an original one-act play written by our very own Ridley Clayton.
This event is free to the public, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
