We are still looking for another host family! Host families would provide a private room for one of our guest artists from Missoula. Livermore Learns - Positive Behavior Strategies at Home - Thursday, February 9 from 7-8 pm. Parents will learn what PBIS is and how they can apply these strategies at home to help their child/ren develop skills they can use at school and throughout their lives. Link to flyer.

Livermore’s Water Conservation Art Contest!

Livermore’s Water Conservation Art Contest! Open to all students grades TK-12! All forms of visual artwork, including painting, drawing, ceramics/sculpture, digital illustration, video/animation, and photography are eligible. Entries must be no larger than 2 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft and should relate to this year’s theme- California Water: Back to its Roots. The deadline is March 1, 2023 with the grand prize of an iPad! Give Special Kids a Smile

Give Special Kids a Smile 2023 Will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 9:00 AM at Union City Dental Care Center - 1203 J St., Union City 94587. This event is FREE of charge for children and adults with disabilities. Each patient will receive a dental screening, cleaning, an oral health kit, and potential treatment of their most critical dental needs. There is no insurance required. Patient appointments will be made on a first come, first served basis & registration is required.

LVJUSD Science Odyssey

Dear Families,


We are excited to announce that our annual district Science Odyssey will take place this year 'in person' at Junction K-8 School on March 8th and 9th. We encourage your young Scientists to register their projects now! Science Odyssey is a wonderful learning experience and an opportunity for all students in Grades 1-5 to showcase their love of science and excitement for engineering!


Explore our Science Odyssey webpage with your student and register your projects here. Students can register a project as an individual or work together as a team on a project.


Special awards will be presented in certain categories after all projects have been judged on March 8th.


Science Odyssey Registration will close on Friday, February 5th at 4pm.


We are excited to learn from our young scientists and look forward to seeing their projects!
