#NoExcusesNoAlibi
Miller's Message
Greetings Longhorn Nation!
The new school year is here! The first day of school is Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Doors to the building will open at 7:45 AM. Students will enter the building via door 37. We will have 1st-period rosters posted throughout the building. Students will report to their assigned 1st-period class and will receive an updated schedule.
We will focus on the convergence of four elements; Relationships, Communication, Parental Involvement, and Shared Identity. My leadership this year will focus on these four elements as they apply to school improvement. Together, we will make a great school even better! The school mantra for the year will be " No Excuses No Alibi". We will not allow excuses to hinder our success in Cedar Hill. Your student WILL be challenged each day to perform to the best of their ability.
This year promises to be full of great accomplishments and exciting progress for our scholars and our school. If you have any questions related to school policy and procedures, schedules, etc., please feel free to contact the main office at 469-272-2000, check our school website or email me at jason.miller@chisd.net. You may also stay abreast to what is happening at CHHS via twitter at @Mr_Miller1911 and @Cedar_Hill_HS. Let’s make this school year the best!
