Briggs Avenue Community Garden

Volunteer to grow food for our campus & community!

The Briggs Avenue Community Garden provides fresh produce, environmental education, and recreation for our campus and our community. Please join us for a workday to help tend the Campus Harvest garden plots, perennial beds, and community orchard! No experience is necessary, and all tools are provided. Come get your hands dirty, learn how to grow fruits and vegetables, and help nourish your community!

When?

Every Friday morning, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

1598 S Briggs Ave, Durham, NC 27707

On Bus Route 8

Park along the road or in the visitor spaces at East Coast Metal Distributors across the street

How do I sign up?

Please visit http://vols.pt/jF4afN to register for a workday in the garden. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring water, snacks, and sun protection if you desire.
