Our Wildcats Serve Others in Honor of Dr. King!

At Hickory Flat, we know it feels good when we do good! These students & their families made sure they didn't just get a day "off" for Martin Luther King, Jr., but they were intentional to help others in his honor!

Friendship Matters!

"We didn't realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun."

- Winnie the Pooh

School is more fun when you have a friend to share it with! It's our goal that every student have other students in their class and grade-level they can talk to and that will encourage them during school.

Home & School Connections:

Sometimes, getting to know someone new can be a challenge! Talk with your child about how to meet new friends. You can even use some of these things to say:

  • Hi! My name is _________. What's your name?
  • What do you like to do for fun?
  • Do you have any pets?
  • What do you like to watch on TV?
  • What's your favorite subject in school? Why?
