THIS WEEK:

READING: Students read a story about Mangrove Trees. We also read paired articles about how they help the land and people.


MATH: We rocked our Unit 7 test! Class average was 86% YAHOO! WE have started our final unit - Geometry.


WRITING: Students have been working on Istation Writing learning about the 6 Writing Traits.


SCIENCE: We completed our plant foldables.

NEXT WEEK:

READING: Students will read a Reader's Theater and will have the chance to audition for a part. Those that are assigned parts are going to record a newscast using the story. Those not assigned parts will be reading articles using our Scholastic Magazines.


MATH: Students will work on geometry - studying quadrilaterals, measuring angles, and types of lines.


WRITING: Students will continue to work on Istation Writing learning about the 6 Writing Traits. We will then write a paragraph of the week.


SCIENCE: WE will be preparing for our museum fieldtrip and reviewing museum expectations.
