Electives Discovery Night for 8th Grade Families!

Tuesday, Feb. 2nd, 7pm

201 South Gammon Road

Madison, WI

JMM electives teachers will present about their current course offerings. All Grade 8 students and parents should attend this night. The online Curriculum Guide answers most questions,

but this face-to-face presentation is best! Please arrive at 6:55pm to allow us to help you find your starting room and start at 7pm with presentations. STUDENTS IN SPECIAL EDUCATION should attend a meeting before the electives sessions at 6:15pm in room 516.

Course Selection Presentation: 9th-11th Grade Parents

Counselors will review key items to think about for Student Course Selection for Fall-2016. There where also be some teachers available from various subject areas to answer questions.

Course Selection Cards for 2016-17 School Year due FEBRUARY 19th

All Grade 9-11 students will receive their course selection cards for next year in Advisory on February 8th, and need to turn them in to their history teachers by February 19th, as they will be entering them into Career Cruising with their class the following week.

Feel free to log into Career Cruising on your own time if you would like to get a jump start. Some things to keep in mind:


  1. Choose your own destiny - pick classes w/ your own interests in mind.
  2. Consider your career interests and choose classes that will help you explore those
  3. Remember Graduation Requirement and college admission requirements.

AP EXAM Registration is February 6th-March 4th

Seniors, need help working on the FAFSA? See your counselor, or attend a "College Goal Sunday" workshop. Also, if you have financial need, apply for community scholarships. Meet with your counselor if you have not made plans yet for after graduation!
