SEVEN School Days Left of Quarter!
Tutoring Opportunities
Academic Assist (After School): Academic Assist provides a quiet place to complete your homework with all the resources a library has to offer. It also provides a place for students to work on projects, makeup tests or quizzes they missed, study for exams, ask their teachers questions in a smaller setting, and much more. There is a math teacher as well as another teacher daily to help students.
All Subject Areas (Before School): Ask your teacher to get help before school. Set up a time to meet in their room to get help with any questions.
English ACT Tutoring (After School): Every Wednesday after-school meet in Mrs. T.O’s room for help on the English and Reading section of the ACT.
Tutoring through the County Library: Whether you’re a student struggling with a math problem on a homework assignment or you need someone to proofread your cover letter before applying for a job, Tutor.com can help.
Club Z (District Sponsor): In-home & online tutoring services in the Saint Charles County area
Are you struggling in a particular class? Try these four things to help! Meet with the teacher before or after school. Even 10 minutes every day adds up to an extra 50 minutes of learning for you each week. Many times it is a one to one ratio with the teacher during these times. Attend after school Academic Assist in the library from 2:20 pm - 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday. Ask to see your teacher during Wednesday Academic Intervention period (pre-arrange this and get a pass from the teacher). Email your teacher to ask specific questions about assignments that you are struggling to complete.
