Spotlight on student work!
This mask is based upon the idea of transformation. Whether people want it or not, I feel like all of us are or will be going through a massive transformation as we come out on the other side of this battle. Many doors are being closed in order for many others to be opened, and although I don't know what the future will hold for us, I have hope that we'll all become better than we ever imagined. What's going on is terrible, and my heart goes out to all those who are suffering. However, if everything happens for a reason, I hope the end result is beautiful and that people learn to take time to appreciate the small, simple things in life, help others when we can, and unite together to spread happiness and light to all. Life is fragile but magnificent, and I'd rather go through it admiring what I have then despairing about what I've lost.
COVID-19 Tips for Parents
Below is a link to a document with a list of ways that parents can support their children during the COVID-19 pandemic:
Allatoona Dads!
School may be closed, but the Allatoona Buccaneers ALL PRO DAD Chapter is still rolling!
We will be holding our 2nd ALL PRO DAD Virtual Chapter Meeting via Zoom on Friday, May 15 at 8:00 am. The topic for this month is “Integrity”. We will feature a video with ALL PRO DAD Co-Founder, Coach Tony Dungy. Our guest speaker will be Allatoona Sports Chaplain and Assistant Baseball Coach, Pastor Mike Linch. Please RSVP on our Allatoona APDC web page. (Link below)
Remember, ALL PRO DAD is for ALL Students (not just father/sons and not just athletes). The goal is for the student to invite a positive role model to join them for breakfast and hear a positive message. Please join our ALL PRO DAD Chapter and RSVP for the Virtual Chapter Meeting at:
https://allprodadchapters.com/chapters/11114
As an Allatoona APDC Member (it’s free!), you will have access to your own member dashboard and a daily positive fatherhood message. In normal times, we meet five times per school year for a free breakfast (provided by local business sponsors) and a positive message.
So, please join us for the Allatoona ALL PRO DAD Virtual Chapter Meeting on Friday, May 15 at 8am.
Your Allatoona ALL PRO DAD Chapter Team.
