Arrival and Dismissal Updates

Good Evening, New Lebanon Parents! Thank you for being so flexible these past few days as we have worked out the kinks with arrival, dismissal, and transportation. Starting today, our students are attending all afters programs. Please let us know if there are any concerns with transportation or anything else related to afters. All arrival and dismissal will remain the same until we let you know otherwise. As we have reminded many of you, please drop your students off at the door. If you need to visit the office, just let a staff member know, and proceed to the main office.

Beginning of Year Tests/Assessments

We are gearing up for our beginning of year assessments, so we can learn more about your students. If you have a set of headphones at home, please send them to school (preferably with their names on them). This will help us immensely, as the main test we give is on iPads and requires headphones. We do have extras in class if you are not able to send any.

Construction Update

What a beautiful building we have to appreciate and enjoy! Today the gym officially re-opened, and students were having a wonderful time in PE class with Mr. Villani. We look forward to our playground opening later in September, as well as our completed sidewalks at our main entrance - stay tuned for updated arrival and dismissal procedures once construction is complete. Thank you for your patience and flexibility!

Open House

Thursday, Sep. 12th, 6-8pm

New Lebanon

You are cordially invited to New Lebanon School’s Open House. This evening gives you the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom, meet teachers, and receive important information about instructional programs. Since the purpose of the Open House is to give general information to all parents, teachers will not be able to answer specific questions about your child’s progress. Such individual questions are best handled at parent/teacher conferences, which are scheduled at the end of the marking period, or for another date, which you can arrange with the teacher. Also, our Open House meeting is for adults only, so please find suitable childcare for your children on Thursday night.
