What was the change?
Renaissance was the change in art, education, trade, and learning. Large city-states grew because of trade. During the Renaissance, Europeans developed new ideas in art, government, and human potential.
Who were the people associated with the change?

Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519)
Leonardo was a man who had an plethora of talents. He wrestled, made art, danced, and much more. One of his paintings, which is shown on the left is well known, called the Mona Lisa. Only 17 of his paintings survived or were found after he passed away.
Michelangelo Buonarotti (1475-1564)
Michelangelo was considered the greatest living artist in his lifetime, and ever since then he has been held to be one of the greatest artists of all time. Many of his art, sculptures, and architectures are the most famous art in existence.
Lorenzo De' Medici (1470-1553)
Lorenzo and his younger brother, Giuliano ruled Florence after the latter’s assassination, was sole ruler from 1478 to 1492. Him, and his family expanded learning, art, and architecture in Florence.
How did the change impact society at the time?
The Renaissance did to society at the time is that it brought culture to Italy through the 13-1600's. 60% of the population were dying at the time so citizens had to decide to become involved in political life.
How is the change evidenced in today's modern society?
In today's modern society, we almost live for fine arts, architecture and music. There are many people who still study art and create it as well. Music, also, is a something we all listen and it's all because of the Renaissance.
