Thompson Tales

Mrs. Thompson's 4th Grade Class; June 2, 2017

Have a wonderful summer!

I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have been given the chance to work with your child this year. Thank you for sharing them with me, for trusting me with their education, and for being a partner along the way. The end of a school year is always bittersweet, and this year is no exception. I hope each and every one of you have a summer to remember.

Wax Museum

I am SO proud of these kids! They worked so incredibly hard and did a fabulous job! Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents, aunt, and uncles who shared in the day and helped it be successful.

Wrapping Up the Year

We are down to our final 2 school days of the school year.

Today you will see their binders, writing journals, and anything that's still stuffed in the bottom of their lockers.

Today is their last Friday Folder and planner. Please do not send these back to school.

Yearbooks will be passed out on the last day of school, as in previous years.

Academics- What we're working on!

Math- This week we took a peek at fifth grade math. We worked through each day together.

Writing- Our wax museum was the finale to our writing unit, and I couldn't be more proud of these kids! Graded projects were sent home yesterday.

Reading- We watched our book club presentations, had a read-in, and turned our books back into the classroom library.

Social Studies- We wrapped up our unit on Monday with discovering our own unique heritages. It was so much fun to hear all of the family stories!
