Space Settlement Design Challenge Update (NASA Trip)
Good news!
We have successfully arranged to host the 2023 Central Space Design Competition at NASA's Gilruth Center in Houston.
Industry Simulation Education (InSimEd) is a 5-person 501c3 that is now organizing the event. Northwest AEA is providing support. All registration fees and program details are now handled by InSimEd. Adam Moss (NWAEA) is your local contact for questions and will be serving as co-coordinator for the event.
Dates: The competition starts Thursday evening, March 2nd and concludes at noon on Saturday, March 4th, 2023. Past participants, please note the change in schedule.
Location: Gilruth Center, NASA Houston campus.
Cost: $190 per person. One adult chaperone is required for every 4-5 participants. This cost covers all meals from breakfast Friday morning through lunch on Saturday.
Overnight accommodations will be "camping style" in designated areas on the floor at Gliruth Center.

2023 State Science Technology Fair of Iowa
The Iowa 4-H Youth Development’s State Science + Technology Fair of Iowa (SSTFI) serves as a platform for student researchers (grades 6 – 12) to meet with professional researchers and communicate their findings and understanding of the research process. The SSTFI is an affiliate of the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.

Biotech Education Outreach Center
- The Biotech Education Outreach Center is just what the name implies. From instructional materials, free resource lending, the Authentic Science magazine, explainer videos, and school scheduling, the BEOC exists to support science learning and teaching through the biotech lens.
