We have a wonderful staff at Central. It is important we recognize efforts, no matter how small or big they are. Please take the time to submit staff shout-outs at this link: https://forms.gle/crzN86vY5nuS5EwN8
The staff will truly appreciate this recognition. It does not just need to be your child's teacher. Please feel free to recognize any member of Central's staff.

Math Minutes From April Hennager - Central Title I Math Teacher
Did you know?
There is no such thing as a “math brain” or “math gift.” No one is born knowing math, and no one is born lacking the ability to learn math. Everyone can learn math well! A lot of scientific evidence suggests that the difference between those who succeed and those who don’t is not the brains they were born with, but their approach to life, the messages they receive about their potential, and the opportunities they have to learn.
How can you help your child become better at math?
A great way is to play games with them!
It really doesn’t matter what kind of games you play either! When playing:
- Ask “Who has more? Who has less?”
- Practice recognizing numbers and sets (dots on dice)
- Count game pieces
- Have fun!
Bedtime Math
This app gives your family a daily math story and questions for everyone to answer together!
