Learning Reviews

Don’t forget that our learning review meetings will take place online next week. It is really important that teachers have conversations with parents of all the children in their class, so please do try to ensure that the appointment is kept. If you need a reminder of your appointment time, please contact the office.

School Development Plan

Our school development plan for this academic year has now been agreed by governors. We will have 3 priorities – Further improving learning and outcomes in English; Enhancing safeguarding and wellbeing; and Supporting effective parental engagement. Obviously, the plan has a large number of actions that we hope to complete by the end of the year, and we believe that introducing new ideas into these core areas will make a positive change in our school.

Circus Skills Workshops

We are very excited to have arranged for all children to take part in circus skills workshops on Monday. These will take place during school time as part of our PE provision.

FOSS Halloween Events

Thank you to everyone who supported the FOSS events for Halloween. We know that children really enjoyed these, and they raised valuable funds for our school. We raised £138 from the pumpkin trail and £23 from the bake-off - Thank you! FOSS have kindly purchased new sets of dictionaries for our classes.

School Lunches

Please see the Autumn Lunch menu below. Next week we will be on Week 3 of the menu.

Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.

Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.

Each day there are now 4 choices, either the hot dinner, hot vegetarian option, jacket potato with a choice of toppings or a sandwich. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.

Autumn 2021 Lunch Menu

From 8th September - 18th December 2021. This is our new menu for September - children now have a vegetarian option to choose from as well as a jacket potato or a sandwich.
