The Richardson Review
March 19, 2023
Classes resume on Monday, March 20th
Dear Richardson Families
As we wrap up our spring break, we just wanted to share a few reminders for the week ahead. Below you will find information around our PreK & K information night on Monday, National Down Syndrome Day (wear mismatched/fun socks) on Tuesday and the kick-off of our Kids Heart Challenge. Also, report cards will be sent home in student's backpacks on Friday of this week.
If your family worked on the Spring Break Bingo Challenge, have your child/children bring in their BINGO board to be enter into a raffle for a free book. If you were unable to print out the board, you can also have your student write down 5 things they did over break onto any sheet of paper you have at home. They can turn that into the raffle. We are excited to hear about what everyone did over break - even the small moments are special. Below is an example of some things I could write down about my spring break.
1- We went bowling.
2 - We read a chapter book together. (My kids loved it so much they begged me to order the next book in the series).
3 - We cooked dinner together as a family.
4 - We went to my niece's play - it was Shrek the Musical. (It was so much fun my daughter asked me to sign her up for theater classes this summer).
5 - We took our puppy on walks.
As always, if you have questions around any of the information in this newsletter, feel free to reach out to me at mhoude@isd622.org or 651-748-6910 (and/or you can always reach out to our main office at 651-748-6900).
Sincerely,
Melissa Houde - Principal
