Message from the Principal
Welcome to the new school year! What an exciting and interesting time to be a Hornet! I know that as we move forward in this virtual platform, there will be some bumps in the road but remember they are only bumps and nothing that we can not work to resolve. I ask for your patience as we take on this new way of learning for our students, teachers, and parents. We are all in this together and together we will find our greatest success! As we begin classes this week, please note the following and make sure that you carefully read all of the information contained within this newsletter.
All students are to work through the Secondary Asynchronous or what we call "on demand" (Independently) Schoology Modules.
There are five (5) self-paced modules. CLICK HERE TO ACCESS AND WORK ON THE MODULES.
Work on one module a day (Monday-Friday). All of your teachers will review the topics from the modules in class this week during your scheduled time with them. Teachers will send students access codes or links to join their classes in google meets.

Device and Access Information
While Schoology may be accessed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer - to best support this instructional platform, students should have access to a computer that they can use independently to participate in each day’s
instruction. Personally owned devices can be used to access online course material. Most current technologies will work with Schoology, with the following minimum device requirements:
- Operating Systems: Windows 10; iOS 11; Android version 6 or higher
- Browsers: Chrome (latest version); Safari versions 10 and 11; Firefox (latest version); Edge for Windows 10.
- Yes - Schoology will work on Chromebooks.
For full interactive instruction, students will require that the device have a microphone and camera. If they do NOT have a camera or mic, then they will be able to view the Google Meet Sessions- but will be unable to interact.
If a student does not have a device or access, please contact the school, who will provide assistance.
