SHS and SMS Backpack Expectations
Students are not to carry book bags, oversized cinch sacks, large purses or like items from class to class. These items are to remain in the student lockers for security and safety reasons. Purses, small satchels or mini cinch bags no bigger than the size of an iPad will be permitted in class. These items must be kept on the corner of the student's desk, hanging from the desk's chair, or in a teacher-designated location in the classroom.
SMS and SHS students will still be allowed to bring backpacks to school. The expectation will be for students to store their backpacks in their lockers throughout the day.
1:1 @ SHS
All high school students will be issued an iPad on August 5th. Students will be receiving training on the proper use and care of the device and how to be responsible digital citizens. This device will come home with your student, and it will be your student’s responsibility to care for the device, including charging it, bringing it to school each day, and using it properly.
