With spring right around the corner, we begin the start of the final trimester of the school year today and look forward to a busy schedule ahead. Trimester 2 End / Report Cards
The third and final trimester of the 22-23 school year will run from March 10th until the last day of school in June.
23-24 Kindergarten Registration OPEN
Do you have a child that will turn 5 years old prior to September 1st, 2023? If so, your child is eligible to attend school in the Perkiomen Valley School District next fall.

Once you complete the online registration process and submit all required documentation, please call the South main office at 610-489-2991 or email Kim Jones at kajones@pvsd.org to schedule your registration appointment - Kindergarten registration at South will take place on March 20, 21, 22, and 23rd.
At your registration appointment, we will confirm all registration requirements have been met, and and we will also meet with your child to learn more about their early reading and numeracy skills.
*Feel free to pass along this information to friends or neighbors who have their first child planning to start Kindergarten next year.
1/2 Day Inservice Schedule / Notes (Wednesday, March 15th)
1st-5th Grade:
AM Arrival: 8:30 AM, NO CHANGE
PM Dismissal: 12:15 PM (bus times are adjusted 3 hours earlier than normal)
Kindergarten:
AM-K Arrival: 8:30 AM, NO CHANGE
AM-K Dismissal: 10:30 AM (bus times are adjusted 1 hour earlier than normal)
PM-K Arrival: 10:30 AM (bus times are adjusted 2 hours earlier than normal)
PM-K Dismissal: 12:15 PM (bus times are adjusted 3 hours earlier than normal)
K+ Arrival: 8:30 AM, NO CHANGE
K+ Dismissal: 12:15 PM (bus times are adjusted 3 hours earlier than normal)
*YMCA Note: the before/aftercare YMCA program will run onsite as usual on 1/2 days.
Yearbook Update (03/10/23
The South yearbook is 96 pages and contains student photos from Home & School events, in-school events (spirit weeks, book fairs, assemblies, classroom photos, recess, etc), and so much more!
Purchase deadline has changed- It is now April 10th instead of the 17th! Soft cover $18 and hard cover $23. Please buy the yearbook soon for planning purposes. There will be limited copies available after the deadline. Order here by credit card: https://jostensyearbooks.com/?A09881886 . Cash and checks (Payable: South Home & School) accepted too- look for the green flier sent home with your child. Not sure if you ordered? Email the yearbook committee.
Want to increase your chances of seeing your child's face in the candids pages of the yearbook? Email the yearbook committee photos that you have taken at events and at school (past and future events, such as the 3/25 skate night, book fair, art show). Deadline to submit photos is April 3rd!
