October/November
Newsletter for Friends Magazine
Introduction
Hello all you Friends Magazine followers! This is Meredith (editor) doing this newsletter for these two lovely months- October and November. We are so sorry that we couldn't get this newsletter out earlier. The Friends Magazine Managers have been so busy lately with the school year. But, we have a solution for the problem of not doing just one newsletter for October, or the same for the November Newsletter. We have created a combo! A combo will happen every now and then, but us Managers will try our best to prevent combos from happening and to just have one newsletter for each month. So, again, we are very sorry for the no-newsletter-for-October situation.
Anyway, in this newsletter we will have a contest, some random fun facts, tips for being a leader, and so much more! So, stay tuned and keep on reading for these fun topics.
Fantastic Fun Photo Contest
Have you ever wanted to be in a photo contest? Well, now's your chance! We were thinking that it would be a good idea to do something Fall/Winter related. So, what's a better thing to do than a photo contest? Us managers have made it easy to submit your photos into the contest. All you have to do is follow these easy-peasy-lemon-squeasy steps to entering our contest:
- Snap a photo of a Fall/Winter related object or landscape
- Download the photo onto your computer
- Email it to us (friendsmagazine12@gmail.com) with your first and last name, date photo was taken, and a brief description about the photo.
The date that the photos are due is by Sunday, December 15. We will put the winner and their photo and description in the December Newsletter! Good luck!
