What are the Bill of rights
Bill of rights are the first 10 amendments in the consitution
First amendment: the right to free speech, religion, and press
You can say anything you want, you can write anything you want, you can also believe in any religion you want.
Court case: Bretton Barber: Teacher was not accurate on why the shirt was bad
Second amendment: A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state
People mat have to serve on the military if need
Third amendment: no soldier can come in your home and demand you to let them stay their.
Soldiers can't force you to let them live in your home.
fourth amendment:police can't come in your house and search and take away your belongings
Police can't come in your house and look through your stuff.

fifth amendment: will be able to answer for a case of crime
When a crime happens the grand jury must decide if their is enough evidence to back up the crime.
Court Cases: Miranda vs. Arizona: Arrested for kidnapping and raping a woman
Sixth amendment: All crimes must go to court as soon as possible
If you do a crime you have to go to court as soon as possible
Seventh amendment: Other trials a=cannot be brought up in other courts
When a case is decided you can't bring it up in other courts
Eighth amendment: excessive bail shall not be required
Don't have to pay a lot to get out of jail
Ninth amendment: Government can't take away the freedomon from the people
Government can't take any rights away from people.
10th amendment: Powers not delegated to the US by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the states
Consittution doesn't give power to states nor government
