WSD Robotics Success
Please congratulate members of the robotics team on their amazing success this year. After winning both regionals that they participated in earlier this year, the team competed at the World Championships in Houston, Texas as one of 454 teams from 10 countries. They finished first (10-0) in their division of 75 teams and were the only team of 454 to finish with a 4.0 ranking point average in their matches. They then proceeded to play 6-0 through division playoffs with their alliance partners, taking home a blue banner for the Hopper Division. In the final round-robin tournament between division champions, the team won 2 of 5 matches, putting them in 5th place overall. This is by far the best that the team has ever done, and they are receiving recognition from other teams - and are no longer an unknown team! Way to go Ratchet Robotics!

CURRENT JUNIORS - IMPORTANT
Dear Junior Parents and Students:
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services has mandated that the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV4) be required for all 12th-grade students. All students starting 12th grade shall have two doses of MCV.
This vaccine is required prior to starting the first day of school for the 2022/2023 school year (even if your child will be enrolled in virtual school).
If your student has already received his/her shot for their senior year please fax or email an up-to-date record to the nurse’s office as soon as possible. This will ensure a much smoother transition into the new school year. If you are not sure if your student is up-to-date, please contact your child’s physician.
The St. Charles County & Warren County Health Departments have regular hours available by appointment if you can't get in to see your family doctor before the first day of school on August 24th. In addition to the health departments, children can be immunized at walk-in health clinics such as Walgreens, CVS, and Schnucks.

Thank you for your attention to this important issue. Please contact the school nurse if you have any questions regarding this vaccine requirement.

Grad Night was established so that HS Graduates have a fun, safe place to go for the evening of graduation. It is a lock-in with fellow graduates and plenty of chaperones. They have an awesome time hanging out, playing games, enjoying refreshments, and for many, spending one last evening together as a class.
Grad Night is NOT a school-sponsored event. Please do not contact the school regarding grad night. For questions regarding grad night please e-mail email@example.com.
