Faculty Updates
For the week of January 22nd - 25th
Good morning teachers and staff! Here are a few reminders for this week:
I had an awesome learning experience last week in Dallas working with principals from across the nation. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to share some things with you in our upcoming faculty and PLC meetings. Here are some reminders that I wanted to get out to you right away:
#1: Rick Nielsen is coming for his annual visit tomorrow (Wednesday, January 23rd). Please remember to dress professionally and have your classrooms looking great. He may come in and speak with you and walk around to talk to the students.
#2: Don't forget to sign your letters of intent. Those are due by February 15th.
#3: If you still need to do a formal observation, please be sure to schedule that with me by this week. All observations have to be recorded in ObserverTab by February 15th. Provisional teachers need 2 observations a year and those who are on their 3 year summative year need ONE observation.
#4: We will have a S.O.A.R. assembly on Friday, February 1st at 2:30 p.m. Please put that on the calendar and be sure to upload your students of the month in Google Docs for JANUARY.
#5: If anyone is interested in making a little extra money, I am looking for someone to be in charge of the Lifetouch Yearbook. They have a software program that is pretty easy to use. It's just a matter of uploading pictures from each grade level team. We can pay a stipend for this of around $350. Let me know if this is something you'd like to do and we can get an early jump start on putting it together.
#6: Go TEAM! Thank you for a great first half of the year. It is a pleasure working with each of you.
