Principal's Message
Happy new year and welcome back to school! I hope you all had a wonderful break and enjoyed some quality time with family. This two week break was an opportunity for us all to relax and recharge! I spent a quality amount of time with my family at home and enjoyed several days snowshoeing in our beautiful outdoors. Now, I am looking forward to working with our tiger community to navigate though the new year, together!
Like many of you, I am excited and hopeful for a better new year! I know we have a lot of work and changes ahead of us. As you likely know, on December 23, 2020, Governor Brown shared that the COVID Health metrics for schools have changed from “mandatory” to “advisory". She has made it a priority to return to in-person instruction with a focus on our youngest learners. This is a significant change for everyone! Our district and school are planning for returning students to in-person instruction while ensuring we are implementing safety guidelines. We will be sharing our plans for this change throughout the month. Please take opportunities to complete district surveys and attend town hall meetings for updates, ask questions, and to share your thoughts and concerns. We are creating a flight plan that none of us have ever done before - together, we will continue to make TRE a great place to learn!
With our Tiger Community working together, we will create a positive momentum and thrive in 2021!
