Annual School Supply Drive

Helping Hawks will be collecting for our annual school supply donation drive during the last week of school. Bins will be placed near the classrooms to collect any school supplies that your family is willing to donate. All usable items are donated to Barrington Giving Day's Back to School event. Crayons and markers that can't be reused are donated to some awesome organizations that recycle them! Please remind your students to donate in the bins or to bring items home (if you'd like to keep your extras for next year). Please contact houghservice@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Spring Book Fair on May 28 - 30

There's no better time to stock up on books for those long, lazy days of summer.

Oh, who are we kidding? Your kids want to go to the pool. Pool. Pool. Pool. Swim swim swim. It's like a fever, isn't it, when Memorial Day hits? Like an epidemic level fever where all kids want to do is swim and eat Pringles.

Listen, when your kid passes out from sun and chlorine and you want to fan a book across his or her face to prevent sunburn, books also make great sun shields.

We still need volunteers. Sign up with the link below and thanks in advance for any help.

Teacher Tributes

The school year has flown by. Give your child’s teachers a wonderful SUMMER SEND-OFF by honoring them with a Teacher Tribute through the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation.

Honorees will receive personalized cards to commemorate your donation. Cards will be delivered to all schools on Friday, May 31st. Honorees will also be acknowledged on the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation website. The money raised from both the Holiday and Summer Send-Off Teacher Tributes help to fund the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation’s Helping Hands and PIE Grants which provide additional money for equipment, curriculum and other resources to support teachers as they work to Enrich, Inspire and Encourage our students every day.

Click here www.220foundation.org/teacher-tributes to make your Summer Send-Off donation. In order for a staff member to receive the Tribute prior to Summer break, donations must be received by May 22, 2019. Please visit www.220foundation.org to learn more about the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation.

Thank you for supporting the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation. Your generous donation is helping us transform the classroom in Barrington 220. The Barrington 220 Educational Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization. Contributions are deductible to the extent allowable by law.
