LEAD 2021
As part of our work this year, we are focusing on improving our skills in differentiating work for students. Our iPads help in this effort since teachers can create lessons for small groups and deliver them to the students. We also have purchased a subscription for our campus to IXL, a computer program that allows teachers to differentiate by targeting the math skills assigned to students to practice. Spelling City can incorporate individual lists and practice activities for spelling, which helps to differentiate spelling words for students. Kinder and first-grade teachers differentiate spelling through the use of grade level lists that students use to practice and demonstrate mastery.
For several years, Glenhope has tried to embody the idea that "everybody gets what they need." That has become an unofficial mission statement for our staff, as we try to determine what works best for students and how we can best meet their needs. We don't get it perfect and we have much learning to do, but we are committed to trying our best to make it happen!

We are currently waiting for the district to send a backhoe to scrape the top layer of soil away in our projected site. Once that is done, we'll be contacting the volunteers who have already offered to help and getting our area ready for planting!
