Student Board Rep Ashlyn Bustamante was sworn in this past week at the School Board Meeting as the Student Representative in Greenville. Ashlyn is the ASB President at GJSHS this year. As President, she gives a report to the Board about the events happening at both GES and GJSHS. She did an excellent job this week talking to the Board about academics and athletics at both schools. She thanked the Board for recent school improvements that have occured as a result of Measure B. Ashlyn is also a Student Representative to School Site Council which meets monthly. Ashlyn is learning about the civic responsibilities of elected officials. | Julieanna Fieldson Julieanna is the student every school in Plumas Unified hopes to have. At Greenville High School, our guidelines for success are to be polite, prompt and prepared. Julieanna is in class on time, every day. with her materials and a great attitude. She willingly helps other students, asks for clarification on assignments, and masters content in her academic classes. She is a positive role model, and does not have an unkind word for anyone. She often asks "How am I doing and what can I do better?" Julianna is also an outstanding athlete. She has played varsity softball for Greenville last year and is starting her varsity basketball season this year. She has a great work ethic and is a team player. Greenville is proud to have Julieanna as one of our own. | Kendall Heikin Kendall is a sweet, strong, and kind leader in her sixth grade classroom. She is always willing to assist in any way that she can. When we think of Kendall we think of the hard worker that she is. Kendall loves to play volleyball and basketball. She is a great team leader and player. Kendall is always very respectful. It does not matter if she is upset or frustrated, the respect she shows others is evident in all of her relationships with her peers. We are so proud of Kendall and the amazing work she does each day to make Greenville Elementary a great school. We look forward to seeing her continued progress throughout this year and into her years at GJSHS! |
