Annual meeting with Randy Decker at the start of the school year.

Drills for 20-21

We are still required to conduct drills for this school year. Some will be tweaked a little (Fire), some won't be much different (Intruder), While others will look completely different (Tornado).

Fire Drills - Starting on Thursday the 26th - September 1st, please take you students following the fire evacuation routes. We are not conducting the drill as a whole school, so you can go at your convenience. Grade levels, please discuss with new members where grade levels go to meet up after they've evacuated the building, and take attendance. We need to complete this drill during the first 10 days of the school year.

Intruder - Most of our classes stay put or hunker down in their rooms during this drill. 2nd grade, Curry, and Bond will still go through the doors towards the rotunda area. Remember to space out as you head towards this area.

Tornado - We will have certain days or a week for classes to conduct the tornado drill. Teachers will walk class down to the 1st grade area, be sure to stay on appropriate side of the hallway and so your class where they will go in the event of a tornado. You do not need to actually go into your assigned classroom. Take your kids to the area and explain to them the classroom they will go into if it was a real event.

We will be printing maps for your classroom to display in your classroom. If you have the old maps or there isn't a change, your maps last year will work fine.
