Did you know? The Software Development CTE courses are designed to arm students with the fundamentals of Java programming, enabling them to demonstrate both conceptual knowledge and skills, validate their capabilities with a future employer, and show that they have the potential to be an asset to any company. Upon successful completion of 2 years of coursework and the exam, students will earn the Oracle Java Foundations certification and can move on to an optional Software Development Internship. • December 20: Final day of Semester 1
• January 8 and 9: ASVAB for all Seniors and any interested Juniors. This test will help students discover and understand their strengths and where those strengths can be turned into careers and other opportunities. The ASVAB is administered by the military with no strings attached.
• January 10: Elevate 4 Tomorrow conference for Juniors
• February 13 and 14: EVIT on campus to collect applications
• February 27: ACCUPLACER test
