This NEC News High School Bulletin board is located on the lower level next to the cafeteria and 8th grade stairwell. Students are able to check this board daily for more information and upcoming dates.
It may be hard to believe but this time next year your 8th grader will be in high school! Briggs Chaney Middle School is a part of the Northeast Consortium (NEC) and students can select from three high schools:

Blake High School

Paint Branch High School

Springbrook High School

Open houses for all three high schools will begin in October and we suggest you and your student visit at least one. You and your student will learn about signature programs available at each school, talk with staff and students and explore what could be your student's new school!

Mark Your Calendar! Below are the dates for the Fall Options Fair and each school's open house!

Please visit the NEC web page for more information or contacts on questions http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/nec/

*More correspondence on NEC High School Choice lottery will be distributed throughout the fall. The 1st round of the lottery will begin in October.*
