English Classic Cars in the Balkans
Retro Historic and Iconic Marques
1966 Morris Minor 1000 - 4 door Saloon
Albion Classic Cars is able to offer a pristine example of this well loved marque, which has been renovated to a terrific standard here in Greece, and is consequently in A1 condition. You can see from the stills photographs that the bodywork has been repaired and resprayed from top to bottom, taking out any signs of rust and replacing or re-tinning any damaged panels; from beginning to end.
This is an import from the UK and is a standard right hand drive (RHD) petrol unit, first registered on 19th September 1966. It has 127,486 miles on the clock and is powered by a 1096 CC engine, with single Solex carburetor on a twin axle rigid body.
The engine and transmission are in perfect running order, with good tires and spare, jack and emergency safety kit.
This is a very clean and tidy car, which I am reluctant to sell, because, on short local runs it is an ideal town car for shopping at the supermarket and parking in a busy street. However, it now needs a new and loving owner, who is able to appreciate good quality workmanship and expertise.
The car has been fully serviced by an experienced local mechanic here in Greece, who gives the engine transmission and other essentials his blessing. A new water pump has recently been installed, the electrics have been largely replaced or repaired, and the car now complies with all European standards, with new headlamps, hazard warning, a reversing light and red low visibility lamp. The upholstery is in original red and in good condition, and the carpets and mats are fairly new.
The vehicle is presently registered as a Classic Car here in Greece, and on special ELPA plates.
