Tents Wanted for Camping 101 with Mount Grace~
This year's Great American Backyard Campout will take place nationwide on the Weekend of June 24-25, and Mount Grace will once again participate with a family campout at Skyfields Arboretum.
This year's Skyfields Campout is subtitled "Camping 101." Our MassLIFT AmeriCorps team is focusing on introducing new campers to the joys, and basic techniques, of camping in order to encourage more people to enjoy the local landscapes we help protect.
A big part of that is making camping gear and, in particular, tents, available to people who may not have them. If you have tents, flashlights, lamps, coolers, camping tools, or other gear in good condition that you are willing to donate, please contact Katy Ziemlak (outreach_americorps@mountgrace.org) or call 978-248-2055 x28 with questions.
